The Cocktail Bar:
Located on the upper level of the hotel, this large room is suitable for cocktail style functions for up to 250 people.

It is a stunning room with a very classic ’old-world’ feel about it, with the beautiful wood grain finished bar & trimmings, big faux fireplace & timeless paintings. Black & white photographs of The Caxton when it was first established hang above the bar & various ornaments from various eras, such as an old golf club & violin case which may have been left behind after a famous Caxton Jazz session once held here, decorate the room.



The fabric bench seating wraps around the raised area of the Cocktail bar, with wicker chairs & small tables filling this section allowing an intimate seating area for guests. The old piano in the corner adds that little extra touch that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a Western movie.
Wooden dry bars & stools lining the wall, allows for guests to mingle comfortably.

The room features all the modern touches, bar, amenities, air conditioning & music system which allow for functions to run smoothly.



Adjacent to the Cocktail Bar is our Pool Room featuring 3 pool tables, some fine Rugby paraphernalia and the balcony. The Pool Room is included as part of The Cocktail Bar but can be open or closed depending on number of guests and your preference.

Whilst the room is quite stunning on its own, guests are more than welcome to add their own finishing touches to suit their particular style of function.

A highly sort after area of the Hotel, the Cocktail Bar hosts various functions ranging from 21st Birthdays, Engagement & Christmas parties for either work, social or family.
